Do you offer sessions virtually?
I see clients in-person at my office in Lynnwood and also virtually over Zoom. If you're comfortable meeting virtually, this means you can do sessions from the comfort of your own home or at your workplace.

What's your fee?
I charge $130/session for the first 3 "getting-to-know-you" sessions (see more on the "getting started" page) and $145/session for every session after that. Therapy is an investment and I understand that the cost can feel overwhelming if you're living paycheck-to-paycheck. Whatever your financial situation is, I want us to find a way to make it work. If that means we make an arrangement to only charge your card on your payday (aka when you know there's going to be money in your account!), we can do that. If you can only come in to sessions once or twice a month instead of every week, that works.

Do you take my insurance?
I am not paneled with any insurance companies. Why? Insurance companies often ask therapists and clients to jump through lots of hoops to justify why the client is needing therapy. If you do want to use your insurance benefits, let me know. I can give you a document each month called a superbill that you can send in the mail to your insurance company. They may reimburse you for some of what you've paid for sessions. I accept HSA (Health Savings Account) cards as a form of payment and this can be one way to use your health insurance benefits to pay for therapy.

Can I bring my baby/toddler/child to session with me?
Yes, especially if you're nursing! For kiddos ages 2-5, I recommend bringing something to keep them distracted during session so you can focus on your work while they're there (bringing a tablet and headphones for them is totally okay!). For older kids (6+), they can wait in the waiting area just outside the office if you'd like more privacy (my office suite is a safe, secure setting without others coming and going). You can also choose to do sessions virtually from home if this is more convenient for you and you don't have childcare available.

What are your office hours?

My office hours are Wednesdays from 9AM-noon, Thursdays from 11AM-5PM, Fridays from 11AM-5PM, and Saturdays from 9AM-2PM. On Wednesdays I only provide virtual appointments. Appointments can be in-person or virtual Thursday-Saturday.
